Temps made it to 46° today on Little Bay de Noc. I had to check the calendar. Seems like March already. Red and Cedar joined me checking travel conditions on the upper bay today in the Jeep. Moving about out the Days River landing is easy travel at this time. Snow is a bit deeper to the north and east side of the bay. As we move down past the Vagabond towards the Narrows and across to the Kipling Landing travel got effortless and we were able to run in 2 wheel drive. Most anglers report the bite as slow. But that doesn’t mean fish aren’t being caught. For a return trip Ashley and Jamie spent a night in one of our drop down wagons and hooked up pretty nice over the last 24 hours. Perch and eyes on the menu. Ashley jigged hers up on a rippin rap. Color not disclosed… Check out Jamies 8 plus pounder. Find Ashley’s catch later this week in Blade’s Live Well. Way to go you two!
