You know it’s an odd year if only a single pop up hub is set up out on Center Reef in January. It’s a bit of a mystery how it got out there and where the angler crept out from though. I’m sure it wasn’t a direct path.
Hopefully Fridays snowstorm pushes south of us. We’re gonna have to bear down Saturday during those brutal 40 mph wind gusts.
Ice is thickening much slower this year than last year. First trucks on The Bay in 2023 didn’t occur until February 9th. With our looming forecast starting Sunday, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re out there in trucks earlier this year.
