This picture of the Bay tonight is the end of the warm weather before tomorrow’s 180° difference. Rain, then sleet, and now snow at 9 o’clock Eastern Time. Wet snow is accumulating, but not for long. By 8 o’clock tomorrow morning, the temperature will be 20°. The real feel when the winds start whipping will be -2°F. Bundle up to hit the bay because the 10-day forecast is nice and cold. The ice held up incredibly well and maintained the 8-12 inches measured prior to the heat wave. Instead of monitoring ice conditions for the next couple of days, we’ll be monitoring accumulating snow and what this blizzard has in store for Little Bay de Noc.
