The Suspense Is Killing Me

Waiting for cold temperatures to firm the waters of Little Bay de Noc has been painstaking. Two chilly mornings in December teased with a skim across the bay only to be wind blown apart or melted by the warmth shortly after sunrise. Rain and 43 degrees is forecast over the Christmas Holiday and is certainly going to delay the playground from forming until the New Year. The water temperatures are ready. When conditions permit, it’s going to happen fast and the bite will be on fire! My next post will be the moment the yellow gates open and any ice worth reporting develops. Have a Merry Christmas!
