29° marks the sunset on this Monday night, the 9th of February. The Bay is expecting a little precipitation in the form of sleet, and possibly an inch or two of snow by morning. With the exception of a couple of hours tomorrow, temperatures will remain below freezing until Thursday. Beyond that, we have an extended forecast of daytime temperatures in the upper 30s and freezing overnight. That’s right—syrup weather. When the sap runs, so do the walleye. February thaws get the water flowing, and fish will find their way up the Bay, looking for snacks along the way. Go get ’em!
