Pre Weekend Warming

Cold weather has tightened things up, and slush hasn’t been an issue while traveling the Bay. However, some of the deeper snow to the north has the potential to hold slush, which could hinder any vehicle without much clearance or poor tires. The landings are very good and as lump-free as possible. A beautiful day is in the forecast with partial sunshine and a high temperature of 42° to kick off the weekend. This short warm-up will likely have little effect on travel conditions—maybe some improvements by melting down some snow, but it shouldn’t result in any slush problems. Below-freezing temperatures will move back in on Saturday, remedying any softening that may occur. This evening, a picture of the path to paradise,

Increasing your odds,
