Light Dusting

A light dusting of snow fell on the Bay this morning, and temperatures reached 27° by mid-afternoon. The overcast skies and very favorable barometric pressure today should trigger some feeding action. On Friday afternoon, 30-40 mph wind gusts will whip across the Bay out of the northwest, likely creating whiteout conditions at times. By Saturday afternoon, the winds will calm down, and the mercury will drop down as well, with a high of 17°. Ice conditions remain excellent, with an average thickness of over 20 inches. It looks like a Little Bay de Noc kind of weekend, with all the fixin’s.
