Anglers submitted a lot of photos. Some described it as an epic weekend! And man were they ever right. Beautiful weather, great ice conditions and the bite was on! 15 days left of the walleye season there’s still time and it only gets better. My favorite big fish picture is a walleye landed on 4# test and a tungsten jig tipped with…Anyway, Saturday George was looking forward to adding to his tally of perch for the year. He was thinking he might hit 300 this time out. Wasn’t long ago he was at 250. Definitely dialed in on these perch. Somewhere after 300 up the hole I think this will be one of his most memorable fish of the season. That’s great walleye! Way to go George!
