The 5 day forecast calls for above freezing temperatures during the day. Temps will struggle to get under 20° for the overnights. I’ve never prayed for a polar vortex but I’m sending one up now. Ice conditions remain the same with 4 to 6 inches on the bay. I have only seen one shack at the edge of center reef to the south. Plenty of unchartered ice that way. Use extreme caution and a float suit. Fishing has been picking up after a little lull. Anglers continue to find a few perch. Walleye action is starting to pick up on tip ups. My good friends Jamie and Ashley are diehard troopers out there on they’re first trip to the Noc. Ashley hooked up with this nice perch yesterday. We’re going to miss you guys next week.
