Ice conditions will improve considerably with a cold snap in forecast this week. The 21′ All Season Sport Trailer-MAX is sitting on Little Bay de Noc as of last night around 9 o’clock. Ice firmed up and our big ice wagon slid smoothly across the bay ready to outfit a family Monday on its maiden voyage. All dropped down on 6-7inches of ice and a comfortable 70 degrees inside. Ready for our guests to comfortably fish and make memories that will last a lifetime. Anglers continue to have success with tip ups for pike and walleye on sucker minnows. Large suckers have been a favorite. Go big or go home! The perch bite continues to give action with several angles getting limits of good sized fish now. Ice reports this week will focus on venturing beyond the limited area of ice we’ve had at the top of the bay. Light machine traffic is sure to pick up again this week. Trucks will have to wait awhile yet. Stay tuned!
