We had reports of a snowmobile that went through off the first yellow gate south of the Days River. I went down there with my spud bar to confirm and found no evidence… until now. These anglers are lucky. Let’s move on to fishing. With a recent rising barometric pressure and mild temps the bite is back on! After a pretty good slowdown earlier in the week, anglers are now having luck with Jiggin Raps , Swedish Pimples and Moonshine Lures. 16 to 24 feet of water are the favored depths. As you head out the Days River Landing (north of the river) be sure to keep a little left before turning south down the bay. Ice reported has been 6-8 inches to the north and getting skinnier as you head south of center reef. Some ice adventurers are parking the machine by center reef and walking a few hundred yards further finding 3 inches of ice. The east side of the bay definitely has safer ice!

Increasing your odds,
