Inch By Inch

We gained an inch of ice last night but also got 3 to 4 inches of wet snow today. Two steps forward and one step back I guess. The snow definitely helps identify where open water is. Some anglers ventured out onto the Bay on what is certain to be thin ice. They aren’t heading far off the shoreline though.
Today’s picture is the view off the Vagabond Landing shortly after sundown. Speaking of the Vagabond, please remember their landing is Private not Public. The owners generously allow anglers to park and have access to the Bay for $5 per day. Please show your appreciation by placing money in the box by the Office before heading down the hill.
Our forecast shows low 20s and teens during the overnights for the next week. That’s gonna firm this all up and it’ll be game on!
