Plenty of anglers taking advantage of the free fishing weekend on Little Bay de Noc. A few inches of snow accumulated which made for low visibility much of the day. Fish were found but you had to move around to find them. Continued reports of undersize walleyes. Either hooking more than one can count or can’t get them to bite. Depends on who you talked to. Of course there’s been some big fish being caught to. Check out this 9 1/2 pounder that was brought in to be weighed today. Great catch! We continue to have really good ice conditions on the upper bay with no heaves or cracks of significance to report.
