Where the heck did all the anglers go? On Monday and Tuesday it’s been like a ghost town on the Bay. There are very few anglers by their permanent shacks and portables are scarce.  Big walleye congregate in large numbers in small areas right now and there is very little fishing pressure until the weekend rolls around. It’s tough travel out there, but worth it. Set some tip ups out and wait or get on the move and chase ‘em down. The weather forecasted will make being on the move a joy compared to the brutal conditions we’ve endured this season. Hopefully this warm weather will knock down some of the snow, so we can concentrate on fishing instead of shoveling! I took a picture from the top of the bay off center reef looking south. If you zoom in, you can see two shacks between me and the narrows…and a bunch of fresh snow.

Increasing your odds,

-Blade
