Day Landing Looking Good

The warm weather is taking a real toll over on the east side shoreline of the Bay. Enough open water that anglers from that side came over to the west side to get access to the ice. The Kipling Boat Launch is in rough shape. Once it freezes over tonight it may not support much the first couple feet out. Use extreme caution. The Days River landing seems to be the safest bet. Ice thickness remains at 5 to 8 inches above the narrows, down south probably not so good. I’ve heard of some ice breaking up. Snowmobile‘s and ATVs are still going out. The snow is all gone, so bring your cleats!
The picture tonight is out the Days River landing.
