Busy Bay

January 11th, 2025

Ice is 10 inches thick and slick. The masses converged on the bay to angle for the coveted golden eyes of Little Bay de Noc. So many fish have been caught the in the last 48 hours. Camped out tonight are villages of ice shacks from first, second & third to center reef and beyond. Down the east side to the narrows by Gladstone, 100’s of Eskimo, Otter and Clam flips and hubs cover the ice. And of course the homemade wagons and skid houses too making for an angler’s perfect waterfront slice of heaven til mid March.

Our overnight ice adventures book up quickly. If you’d like your own A.S.S.T. (All Season Sport Trailer) they are custom made by Canvas By The Stitch. We have 21 foot drop down wagons weighing less than 1500 pounds that float. Light Luxury for ice camping.

There’s Snow on the way in the overnight that’s gonna change the icescape tomorrow completely.

Increasing your odds,

-Blade
