Fogged In, Or Out?

Navigation tools were essential throughout the day as visibility fluctuated from bad to worse. The Red Gate Ice access is wet, with moderate to heavy traffic and nobody getting stuck. The snow cover has diminished quickly and will be completely gone soon. The further south you go on the Bay, the denser the fog becomes. The Kipling Puddled Launch is decent enough, although there is a void developing where the ice meets the shoreline. So far, it is easy to navigate around. The pressure crack across the Bay is heaving, creating protrusions almost 4 feet high in some areas, offering a good look for anyone interested in launching over it. Expect good air.

Increasing your odds,
