Here comes the freezing rain and drizzle. The snow is 4 inches deep and is perfect for making a snowman. Slush is still minimal except around the edges of the pressure cracks and shorelines. The shallows are certain to be compromised as it warms up, so be aware of those areas. Nothing unexpected regarding ice conditions so far. It is a little sloppy with moisture in the air today. I’m sure visibility will be minimal at times over the week as fog comes and goes out on the Noc. A continuation of Monday’s fish frenzy with great action reported as well today. Current conditions at the Kipling public launch are depicted in tonight’s photo. Not too bad.
Increasing your odds,
