Every once in a while I miss a daily report. I either run out of time or there’s nothing new to report. That was the case yesterday. 
We had another 3-4 inches of snow today, but it wasn’t as wet as was predicted. Ice thickness increased a bit and is averaging 8″ north of the narrows. Bites been steady. The mornings and evenings seem to be producing more fish than late at night or mid afternoon. That changes often and quick. I’ll do a thorough ice check tomorrow…shortly after I load up on some energy with a hearty breakfast from UP Food Trucks right outside Blade’s Bait & Tackle. Dan, Heather and Blake will be serving it up hot at 6am! Not fishing? They’ll feed you too! Come and get it!!!
